show isis interface


Displays information about the IS-IS process on all interfaces.

Syntax: show isis interface

Description: Displays information about the IS-IS process on all interfaces where IS-IS is configured.

Factory Default: None.

Command Mode: Executive and privileged.

Example: The following is sample output of the show isis interface command:

router#show isis interface

  Interface: Loopback 0

IP address: 10.50.0.1, SNPA: *PPP*, level-1

Level 1: Pri: 64, Lan ID: 1000.5000.0001.01, State: <>

  Interface: POS 1/6/1

IP address: 0.0.0.0, SNPA: *PPP*, level-1

Level 1: Pri: 64, Lan ID: 0000.0000.0000.00, State: <Down>

Interface: composite-link 12

IP address: 10.50.1.1, SNPA: *PPP*, level-1

Level 1: Pri: 64, Lan ID: 1000.5000.0001.03, State: <>

The following table describes the fields in the display:

Field Description

Interface:

The name of the interface.

IP address

The IP address for this interface as established with the ip address command.

SNPA:

The MAC address of this interface.

level

The level at which this interface is operating.

Level 1:

The Level 1 characteristics of this interface.

Level 2:

The Level 2 characteristics of this interface.

Pri:

The priority setting of the router as established with the isis priority command.

Lan ID:

The system identifier portion of the NET.

State:

The state of the router.

waiting - the router is waiting to establish an adjacency

DR - the router is acting as designated router

down - IS-IS is administratively down, or the interface is down.
