show ip ospf border-routers


Displays the internal OSPF routing table entries to border routers.

Syntax: show ip ospf border-routers

Description: Displays the internal OSPF routing table entries to an Area Border Route (ABR) and Autonomous System Boundary Router (ASBR).

Factory Default: None

Command Mode: Executive and privileged.

Example: The following is sample output of the show ip ospf border-routers command:

router#show ip ospf border-routers

Codes: i - Intra-area route, I-Inter-area route

Field Description

Type

i - intra-area route
I - inter-area route

Dest Address

Destination's router ID.

Cost

Cost of using this route.

Next Hop

IP address of the next hop toward the destination.

Interface

The connection interface.

ABR

Indicates if the destination router is a Area Border Router (ABR).

ASBR

Indicates if the destination router is a Area Autonomous System Boundary Router (ASBR).

Area

ID of the area from which this route was learned.

SPF

The internal number of SPF calculation that installed this route.
