show route-map


Displays the contents of all route maps or the specified route map.

Syntax: show route-map [map-name]

map-name

Name of a route map.

Description: Use the show route-map command to display the contents of configured route maps.

Use the show route-map command with the map-name argument to display the contents of a specific route map.

Factory Default: None.

Command Mode: Executive and privileged.

Example: The following is sample output from the show route-map command:

router#show route-map in-customer

route-map in-customer, permit, sequence 10

Match clauses:

community (community filter): 3

Set clauses:

local-preference 80

route-map in-customer, permit, sequence 20

Match clauses:

community (community filter): 4

Set clauses:

local-preference 120

route-map in-customer, permit, sequence 30

The following table describes the fields in the display:

Field Description

route-map

Name of a route map.

permit

Routes that match the match clauses are redistributed according to the conditions defined by the set clauses.

sequence

Position of this route map in sequence of route-maps with the same name.

Match clauses

Routes that match the conditions defined by the match clause are redistributed according to the conditions defined by the set clauses.

Set clauses

Routes that pass the match clause are redistributed according to the conditions defined by the set clauses.
