show ip flow-cache


Displays Netflow statistics for the router or per module.

Syntax: show ip flow-cache [module bay/slot] [verbose]

bay/slot

The bay and slot location of the module to display.

Description: Use the show ip flow-cache command to display Netflow statistics for the router.

Use the show ip flow-cache module command to display Netflow statistics for the specified module.

If you do not specify verbose in the command line, the start, TcpFlg, and Input fields do not display.

Factory Default: None.

Command Mode: Executive and Privileged.

The following table describes the fields in the display:

Active

Specifies the number of active cache entries

Freelist

Specifies the number of available cache entries

Configured

Specifies the maximum number of cache entries configured

Flow Allocation Failures

Specifies the number of unsuccessful flow allocations

Samples Lost

Specifies the number of samples lost

Exporting Flows to

Specifies the collector IP address and UDP port

Using Source

Specifies the source IP address for sending Netflow packets to the collector

Version

Specifies Netflow version

Netflow packets sent

Specifies the number of Netflow packets sent to the collector

Errors

Specifies the number of errors associated with sending Netflow packets to the collector

Active Flow Timeout

Specifies the maximum time an active flow can remain active before expiring

Inactive

Specifies the maximum time between flow refresh before a flow expires

Proto

Specifies the packet protocol

TOS

Specifies the Netflow packet TOS field value

SourceIP

Specifies the source IP address and UDP port of the flow

DestinationIP

Specifies the destination IP address and UDP port of the flow

Packets

Specifies the number of packets in the flow

Bytes

Specifies the packet size

Time

Specifies the time stamp when the flow was last incremented in milli-seconds

TcpFlg

Specifies the flow TCP Flag value (Verbose only)

Start

Specifies the creation time of the cache entry (Verbose only)

Input

Specifies the router input interface for the flow (Verbose only)

Example: The following example displays a verbose output for module 1/2:

router#show ip flow-cache module 1/2 verbose
