Syntax: show isis database extensive [l1 | level-1 | l2 | level-2] [LSPID | hostname | hostname.nn-nn]

l1 or level-1

Display extensive routing information for Level-1 LSPs only.

l2 or level-2

Display extensive routing information for Level-2 LSPs only.

LSPID

Display extensive routing information for the specified LSP. Enter LSPID in dotted decimal format: nnnn.nnnn.nnnn.nn-nn

hostname

Specifies the hostname for the detailed display of extensive routing information for all LSPs.

hostname.nn-nn

When hostname dynamic is enabled, display extensive routing information for the specified LSP. Enter the LSP ID as <hostname>.nn-nn

Description: Use the show isis database extensive command with no arguments to display summarized extensive information about both Level-1 and Level-2 LSPs.

Use the show isis database extensive l1 or show isis database extensive level-1 command to display summarized extensive information about Level-1 LSPs.

Use the show isis database extensive l2 or show isis database extensive level-2 command to display summarized extensive information about Level-2 LSPs.

Use the show isis database extensive nnnn.nnnn.nnnn.nn-nn command to display detailed extensive information about the specified LSP.

Use the show isis database extensive hostname.nn-nn command to display detailed extensive information about the specified LSP when hostname dynamic is enabled.

Factory Default: None.

Command Mode: Executive and privileged.

The following table describes the fields in the display:

Table 3-4. Fields Displayed by show isis database
Field Description

Sequence

The sequence number for the LSP. Every time a LSP is updated, the sequence number is incremented so that a router can determine if the LSP it has just received is indeed newer than one it already has in its database.

Checksum

Checksum value computed on the entire packet header. If the ignore-lsp-error command has been entered, LSPs with incorrect checksums are discarded.

Lifetime

Total lifetime of the packet.

LSPID

The identifier for the link-state packet (LSP).

Length

Packet Length in octets.

Allocated Length

Actual Allocated packet length in octets.

Router ID

Remaining Lifetime

Remaining lifetime of the Packet

Level

Specifies whether Level-1 or Level-2.

Aging Timer expires in

Protocols

Protocol for this packet.

Attributes

0x01 = Level-1, 0x02 = Level-2

NLPID

Network Layer Protocol ID

Version

Sysid Length

Packet Type

Packet Version

Max Area

The maximum number of areas configurable for this NET.

Metric

Metric value and type for this prefix.
